The newly-married Border Security Forces (BSF) jawans in Jaisalmer sector have a reason to rejoice as now they can keep their wives at border posts.

The border-guarding paramilitary force has started inviting applications from the interested personnel.

Inspector General of BSF A H Rajeev said, "The Force has started accepting the applications for North and South sectors of Jaisalmer. The permission will be given on first come first serve basis."

With many soldiers wanting to avail the benefit of this facility, he said, "Though selected posts have all necessary facilities for the families, in case of large number of applications, rotational policy will be followed.
