A couple was allegedly killed by relatives of the woman for marrying against the wish of her family in neighbouring Rajanna Sircilla district today, the police said.
N.Harish (22) and Rachna (20) were killed with sharp-edged weapons in their house in Balrajpalli villag, said Vemulawada Circle Inspector V.Madhavi.
She said the police have registered a case of murder on the basis of a complaint filed by Harish's mother Vajramma and are investigating if Rachna's family had any role in the crime.
