Three days into her marriage in May, she was subjected to domestic violence and her husband even prevented her from contacting her parents, a woman has claimed.
She has now been rescued by the Delhi Commission for Women (DCW) in collaboration with the Uttar Pradesh Police.
The woman had sent an email to the commission seeking help. She alleged in the email that her husband physically abused her and "imprisoned" her at their Dadri residence.
