The focus of next year's Jharkhand budget would aim at development of village and agricultural sector, Chief Minster Raghubar Das here today.
"The next budget would be aimed at the development of village and development of agriculture. Suggestions are welcome," Das said after inaugurating Krishi Bhavan here.
As agriculture was the backbone of the economy it was necessary to develop the sector, he said.
Even after 66 years of independence providing irrigation facilities to farmers was still a challenge, Das said and urged farming committees to carefully select spots for construction of check dams.
