In view of Jat agitation over Northern Railway and North Western Railway, and GCPA stir at New Cooch Behar over Northeast Frontier Railway, the latter has cancelled or diverted several trains to and from north India and other regions, an NF Railway release said today.
The cancelled Up trains included Delhi-Dibrugarh Brahmaputra Mail from Delhi, Chandigarh-Dibrugarh Express from Chandigarh, Udaipur-New Jalpaiguri Express from Udaipur, Jammu Tawi-Guwahati Lohit Express from Jammu Tawi and Sealdah- Guwahati Kanchanjunga Express from Sealdah.
The other cancelled trains are Alipurduar Jn-New Cooch Behar(NCB)-Kamakhya Intercity Exp from Alipurduar Jn, Alipurduar Jn-NCB-Bamanhat Passenger from Alipurduar Jn, Siliguri Jn-Dhubri Intercity Exp from Siliguri Jn, Siliguri Jn-Dinhata DEMU from Siliguri Jn, NCB-Bamanhat Special from NCB, Siliguri Jn-Bamanhat from Siliguri Jn, and Siliguri Jn-Bamanhat DEMU from Siliguri Jn.

The other cancelled trains are Guwahati-Howrah Saraighat Exp from Guwahati, Kamakhya-NCB-Alipurduar Jn Intercity Exp from Kamakhya, Bamanhat-NCB-Alipurduar Jn Passenger from Bamanhat, and Dhubri-Siliguri Jn Intercity Exp from Dhubri.
Dinhata-Siliguri Jn DEMU from Dihata was also cancelled along with Bamanhat-NCB from Bamanhat, Bamanhat- Siliguri Jn from Bamanhat, Bamanhat-Siliguri Jn DEMU from Bamanhat, it said.
Other long distance trains running through NCB have been diverted to run via New Bongaigaon-Alipurduar jn-NJP section, the release said adding a couple of trains were also partially cancelled.
