NHPC has restored Unit-2 of Chutak power station in Kargil district of Jammu and Kashmir.
The unit was shut down due to sudden increase in the water level earlier.
Chutak power station is run-of-the-river scheme with an installed capacity of 44 MW and harnesses the Hydropower potential of river Suru in Kargil district.

Cyient to sell stake in Infotech Enterprises * IT services firm Cyient today said it will sell its entire stake in Infotech Enterprises Information Technology Services.
"The company has signed a definitive agreement to sell its entire stake in Infotech Enterprises Information Technology Services Private Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary engaged in IT services," it said in a statement. The intent is to focus on core engineering services and DNO businesses, it added.
No financial details were disclosed."The impact of this transaction on Earnings Per Share (EPS) is expected to be neutral," it added.
