State-run NHPC's 130 MW Parbati project in Himachal Pradesh will now supply electricity to the National grid, the company has said.
"Unit-III of Parbati hydro electric project has been synchronized with grid and commissioned at full load of 130 MW," NHPC said in a stock exchange filing.
NHPC, country's largest hydro power generation firm, has an installed capacity of 5,987 MW. It has over 3,000 MW worth of projects which are under various stages of construction.

The company is awaiting regulatory clearances for 10 projects totalling over 8,000 MW capacity.
Shares of the company closed at Rs 17.95, up 1.13% on the BSE.
