Former Uttar Pradesh Minister for Health and Family Planning Babu Singh Kushwaha, who is an accused in the National Rural Health Mission (NRHM) scam, today submitted Rs 31.5 lakhs to the CBI court as per court directions.
Kushwaha, at the time of his bail was instructed by the court to submit an amount of Rs 50 lakh each in four cases.
He has already submitted Rs 65 lakh of the aforesaid amount and had asked time from the court to submit the remaining amount. The court has given him time till May 10 to submit the remaining amount.
