These complaints were received in response to a public notice published in national and local dailies.
In connection with these complaints, responses of the authorities concerned have been called for, which would be taken up during the open hearing in the presence of senior officers and complainants, the release said.
The aim of the camp sitting is to dispose of pending cases concerning a particular state by hearing senior government officers, sensitising them about importance of human rights issues, compliance of NHRC recommendations by them and meeting local NGOs to get insights into problems being faced by the people, it said.
