"The investigation into the recovery of the weapons has been transferred to the NIA," Superintendent of Police Manoj Kaushik told reporters here.

He said the NIA team headed by Rajesh Sahni, ASP (NIA, Lucknow) would investigate the case.

The arrest of two Maoists had led the police on August 29 this year to recover the US made weapon, foreign-made bullet proof jackets, 9 mm Italian made pistol and Rs 9 lakh in the Silodar forests of the district.
