The couple married in July 2011 and announced the pregnancy in March. The new parents said that their new born son has "redefined love" for them, reported People magazine.
"We are incredibly proud to announce the birth of our beautiful baby boy, Camden John Lachey. Born on September 12 at 6:54 pm, he came into this world at 8 pounds. Love has truly been redefined for both of us," they said in a statement.
Vanessa previously said that she was hoping the baby would be a boy because she loved the idea of a mini version of her 38-year-old husband.
"It's going great, knock on wood! I'm feeling awesome and no morning sickness, no crazy cravings. I've always envisioned a little boy first. Maybe because when I fell in love with Nick - the man of my dreams and the father of my children - I could easily imagine falling in love with the mini-him; that's how I see it," she had said.
