Nickel and zinc decline on lower demand

Nickel and zinc declined at the non-ferrous metal market here today on stockists' selling amid lower demand from alloy industries.

Elsewhere, copper armature and brass sheet cuttings edged down due to subdued demand from industrial users.

Nickel fell by Rs 30 per kg to Rs 705 from Thursday's close at Rs 735 and zinc moved down by Rs 4 per kg to Rs 222 as against Rs 226 yesterday.

Copper armature and brass sheet cuttings softened by a Re per kg each to Rs 399 and Rs 312, respectively.
