Amid tepid demand at domestic spot markets and profit-booking by speculators, nickel prices
eased by 0.39 per cent to Rs 1,034 per kg in futures trade today.
At Multi Commodity Exchange, nickel for delivery in June declined by Rs 4.10, or 0.39 per cent to Rs 1,034 per kg in business turnover of 603 lots.
Metal for delivery in July also fell by a similar margin to trade at Rs 1,038.30 per kg in 8 lots.
Analysts said the fall in nickel prices in futures trade after participants cut down their holdings amid easing demand from alloy-makers at domestic spot market.
