Nickel recovered on renewed demand

Nickel, brass and select copper prices recovered at the non-ferrous metal market here today on good buying by stockist amidst renewed demand from alloy industries.

While, tin and select copper slipped following subdued offtake from consumer industries.

Nickel climbed by Rs 15 per kg to Rs 915 from Monday's closing level of Rs 900.

Copper sheet cutting and brass utensils scrap moved up by Rs 2 per kg each to Rs 404 and Rs 297 from Rs 402 and Rs 295.

Copper scrap heavy, copper utensils scrap and brass sheet cutting edged-up by a Re per kg each to Rs 419, Rs 381, and Rs 314, respectively.
 

However, tin fell by Rs 5 per kg to Rs 1,155 as against Rs 1,160 previously.

Copper cable scrap and copper wire bar softened by a Re per kg each to Rs 424 and Rs 444.
