Nickel, tin and zinc declined at the non-ferrous metal market here today on stockists' selling amid lower demand from alloy industries.
While, select copper gained owing to good demand from industrial users.
Brass utensils scrap rebounded due to fresh demand from consuming industries.
Nickel prices went down by Rs 12 per kg to Rs 1,058 from last Saturday's closing level of Rs 1,070 and tin slid by Rs 10 per kg to Rs 1,410 as against Rs 1,420.
Zinc softened by a rupee per kg to Rs 230.
However, brass utensils scrap recovered by Rs 9 per kg to Rs 350 as compared with Rs 341 previously.
Copper cable scrap, copper utensils, copper billets and copper sheet cuttings inched up per kg each to Rs 479, Rs 438, Rs 507 and Rs 462 respectively.
