Select base metals, nickel and zinc traded higher at the non-ferrous metals market today on the back of increased demand from consuming industries.
Traders attributed the rise in nickel prices to increased demand from alloy-makers.
In the national capital, nickel plate (4x4) traded higher by Rs 6 to Rs 874-877 per kg.
Zinc ingot, too, traded higher by Rs 3 to Rs 137-143 per kg.

Lead ingot Rs 137, lead imported Rs 144, aluminium ingots Rs 168, aluminium sheet cutting Rs 164, aluminium wire scrap Rs 164 and aluminium utensils scrap Rs 162.
