Singer Nicki Minaj has reportedly bailed out her brother, Jelani Maraj, after he was arrested for alleged rape.

The "Anaconda" singer posted a USD 100,000 bond to get her 37-year-old brother out of jail. She used her two homes in Badwin as collateral. One of the houses is occupied by her mother and the other by her brother, reported New York Post.

Jelani was accused of raping a 12-year-old child several times between April and November. He was arrested on Tuesday, December 1 but arraigned only two days later at Nassau University Medical Center after suffering an unknown medical condition.

He was charged with first-degree rape and first-degree sexual conduct against a child.

Minaj, whose real name is Onika Tanya Maraj, hasn't commented on the rape accusation against her older brother, but she said in August when he married his fiancee Jacqueline Robinson that she "would cross the ocean" for him.
