Former Pussycat Dolls star Nicole Scherzinger says she fights hard to stay grounded in the world of showbiz.
The 34-year-old 'Boomerang' singer, who is dating racer Lewis Hamilton, said that being in the public eye is hard but feels she has a responsibility to herself to stay grounded, reported Contactmusic.
"It's hard, because they suck the life out of you in this industry, and they want everything, your music and your personal life.
"It's up to you to stay grounded and keep your close family, your friends, around you," Scherzinger said.
The singer also said that both her and Hamilton being in the spotlight makes their relationship even more difficult.
"It's so hard. It makes it that much more difficult," she added.
