Justice A Arumughaswamy ordered notice to Central Crime Branch's Cyber Cell Inspector, returnable in two weeks.

P Saravanakumar, associate professor with NIFT, was arrested by cyber cell under IPC and Tamil Nadu Prohibition of Women Harassment Act, 1998 and Sec 66 of IT Act (Amendment), 2008, after Sripada filed a complaint on October 18 last, alleging harassment on social networking sites.

Saravanakumar, now out on bail, in his petition, submitted that he had tweeted only some "meaningless words" on Twitter and contended that he was "not involved in serious offence of criminal intimidation or women harassment."

He sought to quash the FIR filed against him.
