A Nigerian national, arrested on charges selling narcotic substances, today created a flutter in a court premises by giving vent to his frustration against police and lawyers over frequent adjournments of his trial.

James was arrested in 2012, when he was a student of a city college, on the charge of peddling narcotics.

A case under the NDPS Act was booked and the trial has been going on in a special Narcotic court here.

When the case came up for hearing today, James was produced before the magistrate, who adjourned the matter.

While being escorted out of court hall, James shouted against lawyers and police blaming them for frequent adjournments and not completing the trial, police said.

However, police managed to convince him and took him back to jail, they said.
