30-year-old James was arrested yesterday when he reached the office of a courier firm at Edayankattuvalasu here for sending a parcel to Chennai, police said.
Officials of the the Narcotic Control Bureau (NCB) also seized a parcel containing four kgs of ganja, worth several lakhs, from him.
District Judicial Magistrate court remanded him to judicial custody for 15 days.
