A 21-year old Nigerian national has been arrested here on the charge of overstaying in the country and attempting to travel with forged documents, police said today.
Paul Osani was arrested by airport police yesterday when he was to take a flight to Doha as authorities found that he had submitted fake documents for travel besides overstaying.
He was produced before a court which remanded him to judicial custody, police said.
Probe revealed that he had arrived in Delhi in 2013 on a three-month visa for taking medical treatment.
He had allegedly prepared fake documents with the help of another Delhi-based Nigerian woman.
