Manvinder Singh Marwah and Earnest, the Nigerian national, were arrested last week by Special Cell of Delhi Police and 151 grams of fine quality cocaine was seized from their possession.
The police action came on a specific tip off that Marwah was involved in supply of cocaine and that he would come near Moolchand Hospital to deliver the narcotic.
During interrogation, Marwah said he receives supply of cocaine from a Nigerian national and he frequents South Extension for supply of the contraband to his clients, according to police.
Marwah, who belongs to an affluent family and is a post graduate, started taking drugs and came in contact with Earnest when he had gone to Goa in December last year.
After Earnest shifted his base to Delhi, the duo started supplying cocaine in New Delhi.
Earnest said he came to India on a business visa in May 2011 and then moved to Goa.
"He started procuring cocaine from Lampa, a Nigerian national based in Goa, and supplied them to his clients. His interrogation shows the consignment of cocaine enters India through Africa for further distribution," a senior police official said.
