Nigerian man arrested in Jaipur for having 'fake' Indian visa

A Nigerian man who came to study nursing at a dental college here was arrested on the charge of having a "fake Indian visa", police said today.

Sameul Olaolu Onaolapo, 35, who had applied for renewal of Indian visa through the state CID-Crime Branch was arrested yesterday, they said.

A case under various sections of the IPC, Foreign Act, and Passport Act was registered against him after the CID-CB produced him with an FIR at the Manak Chowk police station yesterday.

The accused had a diploma course from the dental college here, and his "fake" Indian visa was meant for 2013-15.
 

His passport was to be verified whether it was original or duplicate, they said.

Sameul, who was involved in teaching privately had married to an Indian woman of Kerala-origin and was living in Jhotwara locality, they said.
