Night temperatures dip in Raj, Churu coldest

Night temperatures dipped in parts of Rajasthan where Churu was recorded as the coldest place with a minimum temperature of 1.7 degrees Celsius.

The night temperature in Churu was down by five degrees as compared to the previous night, the Met department said here today.

According to the Met report, Mount Abu, the sole hill station in the state, recorded the minimum temperature of four degrees Celsius last night.

The night temperature in Erinpura road in Pali district was 4.4 degrees Celsius while it was 5.2 and 5.5 degrees Celsius in SriGanganagar and Pilani respectively.

The minimum temperature in Sikar, Phalodi and Jaipur was 6, 8.5 and 11 degrees Celsius respectively.
 

The mercury would further dip in the state during the next 24 hours, the weatherman said.
