parts of Gujarat, Konkan and Goa and of Madhya Maharashtra; remaining parts of Madhya Pradesh and of Vidarbha and were below normal in some parts of west Uttar Pradesh and of Marathwada and in remaining parts of Gujarat state and of Madhya Maharashtra. They were markedly above normal in Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura; appreciably to markedly above normal in some parts of Assam and Meghalaya; appreciably above normal in some parts of sub-Himalayan West Bengal and Sikkim, Bihar, Telangana and of Tamil Nadu; remaining parts of Assam and Meghalaya. They were above normal in some parts of Arunachal Pradesh, Gangetic West Bengal, east Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, Punjab, west Rajasthan, coastal Andhyra Pradesh, Rayalaseem and of interior Karnataka and in remaining parts of Tamil Nadu. They were normal over the rest of the country. The lowest minimum temperature of 5.5 deg C has been recorded at Ballia (east Uttar Pradesh) in the plains of the country.
