Night temperatures were below normal in some parts of

Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, Odisha, Saurashtra and Kutch and Vidarbha. They were markedly above normal in some parts of Madhya Maharashtra; appreciably to markedly above normal in some parts of west Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat region and Konkan and Goa; appreciably above normal in some parts of sub-Himalayan West Bengal and Sikkim, Bihar, Jammu and Kashmir, east Rajasthan and south interior Karnataka. They were above normal in some parts of Assam and Meghalaya, Gangetic West Bengal, Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, Punjab, west Rajasthan, east Madhya Pradesh, Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu and north interior Karnataka and in remaining parts of west Madhya Pradesh, Saurashtra and Kutch, Gujarat region and Vidarbha. They were normal over the rest of the country. The lowest minimum temperature of 7.7 deg C has been recorded at Gorakhpur (east Uttar Pradesh) in the plains of the country.
