Batting first, Kangaroos could only manage 118 for eight from their alloted quota of 20 overs despite some fine batting display by Deependra Singh (58).

The team lost wickets at regular intervals and could not give any impetus to their innings, setting Lions a comfortable target to chase.

Earlier, Rihnos rode on an unbeaten 65-run knock by Naresh Gehlot, coupled with a brisk 41 by Divya Pratap, to overwhelm the Mustangs by eight wickets and sail into the final.

Mustangs, who had given a good account of their ability in the previous matches failed to put up a challenging total on the board, as they succumbed to a moderate 134 all out in their quota of overs.

For Rihnos, Deepak Chahar, Narendra Panwar and Afroj Khan picked up couple of wickets apiece to restrict the Mustangs.

Brief scores:

1st semifinal: Mustangs 134 all out in 20 overs (Madhur Khatri 34, Chandra Pal Singh 30; Deepak Chahar 2/26, Afroj Khan 2/23)

Rhinos 135 for 2 in 18.4 overs (Naresh Gehlot 65 no, Divya Pratap 41; Gaurav Sharma 1 for 27)

2nd semifinal: Kangaroos 118 for 8 in 20 overs (Deependra Singh 58; Shalendra Gehlot 2/18)

Lions 119 for 2 in 18.2 overs (Nikhil Doru 52 no, Rajesh Bishnoi 42 no; Rituraj Singh 1/15).
