Nikki Haley, South Carolina's Indian-American Governor, was left red faced after she locked herself out of the governor's mansion in a bathrobe while seeing off her kids to school.
Haley, 41, currently the youngest governor in the US, told her followers on Facebook that she was stuck outside her mansion wearing nothing but her bathrobe.
"What not to do...Getting locked out of the Governor's mansion in your robe while sending the kids off to school," Haley, born as Nimrata Nikki Randhawa to Sikh immigrant parents, said.

The post quickly generated buzz on Facebook, collecting more than 4,400 likes and close to 550 comments last night for the Republican leader.
But the governor was not forced out of her house for too long. Her communications director, Doug Mayer, told CNN she was only outside for a "couple minutes" before her daughter, Rena, let her back in.
Haley is known in South Carolina for her regular and sometimes personal Facebook posts, which her office says she does herself. The subjects of her posts alternate between her daily duties as governor and her life as a mom.
But with the Republican running for re-election in 2014, her political opponents wasted no time pouncing on her morning blunder.
"File this under Fake Transparency, because it certainly is telling about Nikki Haley's priorities when it comes to sharing information with the people of South Carolina," the South Carolina Democratic Party said in a statement.
