Popular music group Black Eyed Peas and Nile Rodgers have announced collaboration for new music.
Rodgers shared a photo with will.i.am in the iconic Abbey Road studios studio on Twitter and wrote, "I try and post my daily life to show that #cancer, twice in my case, is not always a death sentence. Stay strong. @iamwill and me working on @bep #funky cut."
The 65-year-old musician, also posted a video on Facebook with will.i.am, 43, talking about their upcoming project.
"What an honour to working with one of my heroes, influencers, teachers, I grew up to his music. I am still growing up to his music. When I am around my legends and my mentors I can't help but interview. I was blessed to hear some of the stories. I learned so much in five minutes," will.i.am says in the video.
"Thank you, happy to have you up here in the crib," Rodgers added in the video.
Black Eyed Peas last album was 'The Beginning' in 2010.
In 2011, Rodgers revealed that he had aggressive prostate cancer. He successfuly fought the disease and was declared cancer-free in 2013.
The singer revealed last year that he had a surgery to remove a lump on his right kidney.
