: Minister of State for commerce and Industry Nirmala Seetharaman will be the chief guest for a session on Start-up India here on February 21.
Discussions will be held on the scheme related to budding entrepreneurs, industrialist and incubators, Swathy Rohit, chair of Young Indians, Coimbatore Chapter, joint organisors, told reporters here today.
Stating that the road show will prove an accelerator to motivate young minds in the city, Swathy said that of nearly 1,000 participants, 30 per cent would be women and 10 per cent from the low-income group.

The local chapter of Indian Chamber of Commerce and Indutry president, D Nandakumar, another organisor, said one successful entrepreneur would share his experience about the Start-up climate in the city.
Apart from the session, a few select start-ups from the region will also exhibit their products/services at the expo, which will happen concurrently on that day, Nandakumar added.
