The full list of musicians to feature on the soundtrack to Grohl's documentary, which will premiere at next year's Sundance Film Festival, has now been confirmed, reported Digital Spy online.

'Cut Me Some Slack', which was performed by McCartney and surviving members of Nirvana at the Concert For Sandy Relief will feature on Grohl's record.

Nine Inch Nails frontman Trent Reznor, Fleetwood Mac's Stevie Nicks, Queens Of The Stone Age frontman Josh Homme and Slipknot and Stone Sour singer Corey Taylor are among the other big names also featuring on the film's soundtrack.

Grohl's documentary is about the Sound City studios in California, where albums including Nirvana's Nevermind and Fleetwood Mac's Rumours were recorded.
