Japanese carmaker Nissan today launched a limited edition of Micra, its first locally rolled-out domestic offering in the automatic category, at Rs 6.67 lakh (ex-showroom Mumbai).
The company will roll out 750 units of the new variant - Micra X-shift - with added style and features as automatic transmission to mark the fifth anniversary of its first locally-made Micra.
Nissan, with only 2 per cent auto market share, is focusing on shipping out Micra manufactured at its Chennai facility and exported close to 90,000 units last year to destinations like Europe, the Americas, Africa and Australia.
