Nissan launches Terrano Sport at Rs 12.22 lakh

Japanese auto major Nissan today launched a special edition of Terrano, named Terrano Sport, priced at Rs 12.22 lakh (ex-showroom).

The newly-launched sports utility vehicle comes with added features such as an integrated information and communication platform, curfew alert, among others, the company said in a release.

In addition to Terrano Sport, Terrano is also available in three engine options - 1.6 petrol, 1.5 diesel and 1.5 diesel THP, the release added.

Online travel company Cleartrip today said it expanded its international footprint by partnering with two global activities platforms, Klook and Musement.

 

Cleartrip is targeting a 60 per cent growth from its current scale of delivering close to 100,000 experiences a month through its partnership with Klook and Musement, the company said in a release.

"Our partnership with Klook and Musement will play a vital role in helping us strengthen our international presence, starting with Europe and Southeast Asia, which are among the major travel markets in the world," said Anand Kandadai, executive vice-president, Cleartrip.

************** Gensol to advice MEDA on rooftop solar initiatives *

Solar advisory firm Gensol Group has been appointed as technical consultant by the International Finance Corporation (IFC) to develop institutional capabilities within Maharashtra Energy Development Agency (MEDA) for expanding the grid-connected rooftop solar initiatives in the state.

Divided into three phases, the project would undertake analysis of existing policy framework, mapping of best practices for large scale proliferation and proposing a standardisation framework for the installation of rooftop solar across eight solar cities in Maharashtra, the company said in a statement today.

To be rolled out in Thane first, the project would eventually be introduced in Pimpri-Chinchwad, Pune and the Mumbai Metropolitan Region.
