In the see-saw battle that went into the decider after the rivals won two games each, Nitesh made a break of 41 which ended when he sunk the brown ball in the left bottom pocket but unfortunately the cue ball landed in the center pocket. Lalrina failed to gain momentum against Nitesh and lost the match.
However, Karnataka's Mundir Sherazi made the highest break of 72, the highest so far in the tournament in the match against M Rahul of Tamil nadu.
Likewise Peter Paul of Tamil Nadu made a break of 70 against state-mate R Subhash and Tamil Nadu player Shrikrishna's break of 51 which came against Laxman Rawat (Delhi) to win the fourth frame went in vain as he lost the match in the end by 1-3 margin.
