Niti Aayog seeks comments on draft rules for hiring advisers

Niti Aayog has proposed new recruitment rules for hiring of advisers at various levels.

The Aayog intends to hire advisers for a period of 5 years, which is extendable up to 7 years.

According to the draft recruitment rules posted on Niti Aayog's website, the government think-tank intends to hire one set of advisers for an initial consolidated remuneration of Rs 2,88,400 per month for direct recruitments on contract basis, while the same for senior advisers would be Rs 3,64,400 per month.

For senior advisers, essential experience is proposed to be minimum 15 years of experience (which shall include up to 3 years for PhD provided no work experience is counted during those 3 years) in formulation, appraisal, execution/ implementation, research, monitoring and evaluation of policy, programme or projects.
 

For advisers, it is proposed to be minimum 13 years experience (which shall include up to 3 years for PhD provided no work experience is counted during those 3 years) in formulation, appraisal, execution/ implementation, research, monitoring and evaluation of policy, programme or projects.
