Niti Aayog Vice Chairman Rajiv Kumar concluded a two-day brainstorming sessions with Meghalaya Chief Minister Conrad Sangma, his cabinet colleagues and top officials here today to design blueprint for "new Meghalaya 2022" when the national games will be held here.
The Meghalaya government and Niti Aayog will work as partners to achieve this, Kumar told reporters.
He said wherever they find any difficulty they can contact us.
Kumar said the meeting further discussed about constraints and bottlenecks the state is facing in terms of education, connectivity and power issues.
We spoke about several constrains and bottlenecks the state is facing for example in terms of education sector, lack of trained teachers, lack of electricity connections in the schools, lack of proper mobile connectivity in border areas, the Niti Aayog official said.
He added Niti Aayog will take up the matter with the concerned departments of the central government.

The Central planning body has also suggested the state government to look for private investments in tourism sector.
Meanwhile, chief minister Conrad K Sangma said, Kumar has assured complete support to resolve the issues that are there and the challenges that we are facing.
Elaborating on the blueprint for new Meghalaya, the Chief Minister said, this blue print will allow us to see all the departments separately, see the challenges associated to them and work in time bound manner and target based manner.
In the meeting the chief minister also sought Niti Aayogs help in several pending projects in the state.
