At the same time, Kumar has cleared off Rs. 84,192 loan from the banks and financial institutions that he had shown in the assets declared last year.
He had Rs. 46,974 in cash with him in 2011, but the same stood at Rs. 14,474 even as the value of his movable assets too declined marginally at Rs. 6.10 lakh in 2012 as against Rs. 6.15 lakh a year earlier.
The cash in hand and the movable assets of the Chief Minister's son Nishant increased at Rs. 13,568 and Rs. 7.75 lakh in 2012 as against Rs. 2369 and Rs. 7.36 lakh in 2011.
The value of immovable assets of the Chief Minister remained static at Rs. 40 lakhs (of a house in Delhi) over the past two years, while the same of his son stood at Rs. 47.48 lakh in 2012 as against Rs. 42.69 lakh in 2011.
Deputy Chief Minister Sushil Kumar Modi has assets worth Rs. 65.44 lakh with him and Rs. 49.54 lakh with his spouse and children even as he has an outstanding loan of Rs. 23 lakh from the banks and financial institutions.
The assets and liabilities of Modi remains the same over the past two years.
The Education Minister Prashant Kumar Shahi was the richest minister in the NDA government with assets at Rs. 4.64 crores.
