Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar today expressed deep sorrow over the death of former Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) Chairman U R Rao.
In his condolence message, Kumar described Rao as an eminent scientist whose contribution to the country's space programme could never be forgotten.
His death is a great loss in the area of space science, Kumar, who is also JD(U) national president, said.
He prayed to the almighty to provide strength to his family and others associated with him to bear the loss.
