Nitish expresses grief over union minister Dave's death

Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar today expressed his grief over the sudden demise of Union Environment Minister Anil Madhav Dave.

In his condolence message, Kumar said that Dave was a renowned politician, Rajya Sabha member and a social worker.

Dave's death has caused a void both for society and politics, Kumar added.

The CM prayed to the Almighty to give strength to the minister's relatives and followers to bear the huge loss and grant eternal peace to the departed soul.

Union Minister of State for Environment, Forest and Climate Change (Independent Charge) passed away today in New Delhi.

60-year-old Dave complained of uneasiness at his home this morning and was rushed to AIIMS where he passed away, according to official sources.
 

He was a member of the Rajya Sabha since 2009.
