Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar was today gifted a 144-square feet painting by artistes from 13 states depicting the famed "seven resolves" of good governance.
The painting prepared by artistes associated with Art Investment Company, a social entrepreneur body, was presented to the CM at his 1 Anne Marg residence.
Those involved in the painting work included Padmashree awardee Bahua Devi and 8 year-old child artiste Karishma, an official statement said here.

The CM directed to put up the painting at the main Secretariate.
Two more painting would be prepared by artistes for putting up at Budha Smriti Park and Rajdhani Vatika, the statement said.
The artpiece shows Lord Buddha sitting in meditation under a Peepal tree.
The seven branches of the Peepal tree has been given shape of seven resolves of the CM.
The seven resolves - programmes for women, youth and civic amnities like toilet, electricity connection, drinking water and sewage links to every household of Bihar - has been adopted by the Grand Alliance government as tenets of "sushasan" (good governance).
The portrait incorporates different genres - Madhubani painting, Padh of Rajasthan, art by Santhals in West Bengal, Patt chitra of Odisha, Lippon of Gujarat, Gond of Madhya Pradesh and Warli of Maharashtra.
The mammoth human chain that was formed in the state on January 21 in support of prohibition has been shown in the Warli art of Maharashtra, the statement said.
