Union Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad today said the JD(U) government led by Chief Minister Nitish Kumar was a "hopeless one".
"This Nitish Kumar government is a hopeless one. The state is suffering from an increase in crime and corruption," Prasad told reporters here.
Union Telecom and IT Minister said that Kumar was chosen the Chief Ministerial candidate of the JD(U)-RJD alliance because RJD chief Lalu Prasad cannot become a CM due to his conviction for five years by a CBI court in the fodder scam case.
