Nitish greets people on the eve of Bihar Diwas

Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar today greeted the people of the state on the eve of "Bihar Diwas" which will be celebrated tomorrow to commemorate the date on which the province came into being.

"Hope Bihar will keep marching on the path to prosperity and its people will uphold unity, fraternity and social and communal harmony", an official release quoted the chief minister as saying.

The three-day "Bihar Diwas" celebrations, beginning tomorrow, would be inaugurated by Vice-President Venkaiah Naidu.

The celebrations will be based on the theme of Champaran Satyagrah centenary year.
