Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar today hailed the successful launch of Mars Orbiter Mission and said it has instilled a sense of pride in the people of India.
"It's a matter of great pride that our scientists have successfully launched the Mars Mission from Sriharikota (Andhra Pradesh)," he told reporters here.
"I congratulate all Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) scientists involved in the successful launch of Mars Mission which has made India only the fifth country in the world to undertake inter-planetary mission," Kumar said.
The Mars Mission will help gather valuable informations about activities on that planet, he added.
