Kumar launched 95 road and 79 bridge projects of the road construction department through remote control and another 565 road and 119 bridge projects of the rural works departments with an identical estimated cost.
Speaking on the occasion, the Chief Minister did not hide his fascination for dates of numerological importance and said this date (12:12:12) will remain itched in the minds of the people till their lifetime.
None of us will live to see the day on the next multiples of 12, he said on a hilarious note.
Such dates, particularly in multiples have great significance they appear very rarely, he said, adding, he had tried to make 11:11:11 memorable and sanctioned prosecution of 11 'tainted' officials last year so as to send a message that one could be taken to task for wrongdoings by choosing dates of numerological importance to take action against such public servants.
On a more serious note, Kumar said, he would like to connect Bihar with a network of roads and bridges so that it should not take more than six hours to reach Patna from any part of the state. More
