Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar today laid the foundation stone for construction of 'Salas Rai Jauhari Diwan Hall' at Takht Sri Harmandir Saheb ji here.
The chief minister also offered prayers there, an official release said.
The Gurudwara Prabhandak Committee honoured the CM by offering him 'angvastra' and 'Saropa', it said.
The Salas Rai Jauhar Diwan Hall would have the facilities for stay of pilgrims/devotees visiting the gurudwara.
The hall is being built in the memory of 350th 'Prakash Utsav' of Guru Gobind Singh, it said.
