Press Trust of India New Delhi
Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar today met his West Bengal counterpart Mamata Banerjee over dinner here and is believed to have discussed the current political situation.

The meeting between the JD(U) chief and the Trinamool supremo lasted for around two hours. Banerjee had earlier met Samajwadi Party leader Ram Gopal Yadav.

The meetings between political satraps are being seen as an attempt to build an alliance of like-minded regional parties which can throw a strong challenge to BJP.

Mamata is slated to meet Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal tomorrow.
