The BJP today asked Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar to publicly clear his stand on its prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi's offer of special assistance to the state if NDA came to power in the Centre.
Modi has publicly made his intention clear to provide special assistance to Bihar to tide over backwardness and it is now Kumar's turn to reciprocate, former deputy chief minister Sushil Kumar Modi said in a statement.
"Will his ego come in the way of accepting Narendra Modi's offer of assistance to Bihar or not? Modi asked.
