Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar will leave tonight for a four-day visit to Japan, a government release said.
The CM, who would be accompanied by top state government officials on the trip, left for New Delhi this afternoon from where the team will catch a flight for Japan, a CMO official said.
Some of the senior officials accompanying the CM on the trip include Chief Secretary Anjani Kumar Singh, Road Construction Department Principal Secretary Amrit Lal Meena and Industries Department Principal Secretary S Siddharth.

Road Construction Minister Nand Kishore Yadav will also be a part of the Bihar CM's Japan visit.
The official, however, did not elaborate on the details of the tour.
Several leaders of the JD(U) met Kumar at his official in the state capital before he left for New Delhi.
