Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar today dismissed any slide in law and order situation in the state in the wake of estranged NDA partner BJP's allegations that 'jungle raj' has returned due to a weak government after its departure.
'Some unpleasant incidents like terror attack in Bodh Gaya and police firing on tribals in Bagha have happened. But such things take place everywhere,' Kumar told reporters emerging from the weekly 'Janata Ke Darbar me Mukhya Mantri' programme.
'There is no slide in law and order situation in Bihar ... Aren't people roaming trouble free in the state late in the evenings?' he said, adding prompt action has been taken in all crime cases and impartial probe has been ordered into them.
